For one weekend in December, Alfriston will become a musical wonderland of festive sights and sounds.

• Oliver! weekend at The Apiary, with a Victorian Christmas market, Nancy's Tavern and festive fair from Fagin's Kitchen. Live music from West End performer Lucie Fentum. Performances both days at 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm - free entry

• Barber Shop Quartet at Reformery

• Children's Christmas Grotto at Ye Olde Smugglers Inne 12-5pm both days

• Festivities in Diane Kelly Interiors, Much Ado Books, newartgallery, Object Trouvé, Wallow and around the village

• Late night shopping with many shops staying open until 8pm on Saturday

• Christmas Lantern Service - Christmas carols at Lullington Church at 4:30pm on Sunday
